Hunger Crisis
It is estimated that across the world 2 in 3 children under five - or 478 million - experience food poverty, with many millions sure to join their ranks in the coming months.
The latest national data shows there are more than four million children in the UK living in poverty and suffering food insecurity. This is as a result of austerity, the pandemic and more recently the ongoing costs of living.
In Yorkshire alone figures recently released by the End Child Poverty Coalition indicate 400.000 children (31 percent) across the Yorkshire region are living with food insecurity. Large numbers of families are now being forced to use food banks.
Our commitment is unwavering, and we believe in a world where no one should go to bed hungry.
We may not be able to solve the problems of the world, but for every child we support we can say we have made a difference.
